 Valuing People at NTC

Northwest Technical College employees provide the learning environment that supports and encourages our learners and enables them to successfully develop the knowledge and skills they will need to secure rewarding careers and satisfying lives in the 21st Century.   In turn, and in recognition that everyone at NTC is a learner,  policies, practices, and funding support and encourage professional growth for all employees, as well.  Employees are encouraged to identify personal and professional growth needs and to participate in appropriate professional growth opportunities.  Opportunities for leadership and development are available for NTC employees.  Compensation in the form of salary and benefits consistent with other state employees is supplemented with tuition waivers for self and family of up to 16 credits per semester at other two year colleges, and for faculty, at state universities.    NTC strives to provide a  learning-centered,  and rewarding environment  not only for its learners and other external constituents, but also for its internal constituents—the faculty and staff.
